State Street Corporation said late yesterday that CEO Joseph Hooley has been appointed chairman of the firms board.
The appointment is effective January 1, and follows Ronald Logues retirement.
Hooley has been CEO of the firm since March.
Also late yesterday, Lincoln Financial Group said it has promoted Randal Freitag to executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective January 1.
CFO Frederick Crawford is transitioning into the new role of executive vice president and head of corporate development and investments.
Freitag has been with the company since 1995, and most recently served as chief risk officer.
